I know winter has just started but lately I have had the urge to grow something. I daydream of having my own lush herb garden, I should mention in this dream I dont’ live in the city but in the French countryside. And when I feel like whipping up a meal, I just step out into my little garden and pick just the right amount of herbs to flavor my meal perfectly. Ok, ok maybe I have been clocking to many hours in front of the telly watching the home and garden network but it would be nice to have a small patch to call my own but living in the East Village of New york City you’d be hard pressed to find a rock to throw, let alone a patch of dirt. So I was delighted to find these little treasures at the online store Brooklyn Five and Ten. Taterpots are just 2.25″ tall so they can sit on a windowsill and come with a peat puck and seeds to grow your favorite herb. Available in 4 different varieties, these small pots are cute as button and they are reusable so you can replant them again and again. I can’t think of a better way to satiate my need to seed!
