I work in an office and most days lunch is spent sitting in front of the computer chowing down on my lean cuisine searching the Internet for clever design products. One of my daily missions is finding cutlery in which to eat said lean cuisine with and depending on the reserve collected from various takeout joints can prove rather dicey. Submitted by MUL reader Gail W. this brilliant set of cutlery for the office set. Originally from Designboom’s dining in 2015 competition, Din-Ink takes those often discarded, never appreciated pen caps and puts them to good use. Although still a concept, the designers definitely want people to know this is not just another disposable product. Keeping with the green theme so popular amongst marketers these days the Din-Ink would be made of natural starch and fibers making it 100% biodegradable, even the package could be chucked in the compost.
these could replace my secret stash of plasticware at my desk. i’m not sure how often the caps would get washed tho.
