OK, I know living in the city you would be hard pressed to find a rock to throw at someone and a stick would be even harder to come by but I am filing this under, “Seriously?”. No this is not a joke someone is really selling a stick in a box, in fact online store iloveuma.com sells them for $20 a pop and get this, at the moment, they are sold out! In defense of the product, they do offer a variety of uses for the stick and it’s not just any ordinary piece of wood, it does have an unusual shape. According to the website the stick can be used to: stir pots, flip steaks, scoop jars, slice cakes, scratch backs and stop doors. Don’t they already have products to do those things? I think we call them utensils, doorstops and back scratchers. I don’t know I think $20 is waaaaay too much to pay for a stick, even in NYC.
hilarious, but smart and I’m sure inexpensive to manufacture. Kinda reminds me of the guy who invented the pet rock in the 70’s. He actually made a couple million with his invention.
