It seems as if Ateleir Van Lieshout designed their Deprivation Skull to get you out of your own head by encouraging you to spend time in theirs. The design group is the creative brainchild of Joep van Lieshout, best known for his colorful polyester sculptures and gigantic reproductions of human internal organs. The simplicity of his works reflects his appreciation for practicality and uncomplicated design however they are almost always larger than life, not unlike the designer himself.
