Olympic Sinks.

The Bejing Olympics start in a couple weeks and we’ve seen more souvenirs being sold in NYC’s Chinatown than knock off handbags lately. Understandably, the Chinese are full of national pride but one has to wonder what Olympic ashtrays (should you really be smoking while watching the Olympics?) and Olympic keychains with live fish in them, have to do with athleticism? One collectible we wouldn’t mind owning however are these charming sinks by Spanish designer Jarvier Mariscal for Roca. In honor of the Olympic spirit, each sink features an amusingly simple drawing of different athletic events. The sinks are a limited edition so like the Olympics they’ll soon be gone but rest assured they’ll probably be hocking those ashtrays till the 2010 games.
