This comforter set called “SNURK” by Dutch Company Le Clochard is designed to resemble cardboard boxes, the kind of sleep set up you might see homeless people using. Although the novelty of the design is humorous, it’s meant to bring attention to the homeless youth situation. Le Clochard donates proceeds from sales of the comforter to SZN, a foundation benefiting homeless Dutch youth.
That’s creative and great they are sending some of the profits to help the very people they got their inspiration from. Kudos to Le Clochard.

I appreciate the intention, and clever idea behind the design, but the comforter REALLY is quite ugly.

heh, they’re very origional. But who will use it? = ))
Well I think it would be interesting to use for awhile but the novelty would wear off. I do like the charitable aspect of the comforter though. Thanks for the comment!
This is awful. They are aestheticising and glamorizing the life of the unfortunate ones.
I believe that they were trying to bring homelessness back into public view, by using a creative way to appeal people’s conscience.
