Mekavi Enlightened.

We were excited to see some our favorite designer lamps and lighting at Mekavi this week. Having been a fan of Mekavi’s popular online store for ages we were delighted to be invited to their fabulous showroom located just outside Copenhagen city center to view some of the latest designs. Kim Mekavi, his father Hassan along with communications director Jesper Wille are the heart and soul of Mekavi. Together the trio personally oversee not only the day to day operations but spend loads of hours on the development and design of the business.

So many designs so little time! We spent several hours just touring the showroom. Mekavi displays lighting for the bath, the kitchen and living areas in all shapes and sizes, indoors or out-the options were truly endless!

We were especially interested to see most recent offerings by Dutch designer Nicolette Brunklaus at Mekavi. You may remember her Blond curtains from our 5 Unique Ways to Dress Up Your Windows post. We loved the tables, stools and lamps featuring pictures of an old abandoned convent school Nicolette attended as a child.
