Now that cassette tapes have been relegated to our past, it’s been a major chore figuring out how to dispose of them. Designer Brian Dettmer, well known for his transmogrification of common media items into works of art, decided to donate his to science. Dettemer’s Cassette Skeleton is currently on exhibit at the International Museum of Surgical Science. Made with old classics such as Motley Crue’s “Shout at the Devil” and Judas Priest’s ” Screaming for Vengeance”, the molded plastic mutation sings speaks volumes without saying a word.
