We’ve always thought furniture and fashion went hand in hand and clearly, so does furniture designer, artist and mind reader Pablo Reinoso. His new collection features a series of transmogrified clothing/furniture pieces for both men and women. Incorporating antique design chairs and other pieces into dresses and suits must have been no easy task but we think he did a good job of giving equal billing to both. Can you wear it? Of course not! And you certainly could not sit on it. But that’s the point, you’re not meant too.
Neither functional as furniture or clothing, the pieces simply represent the merging of two design disciplines. It’s not meant for you to wear rather for you to see.
Norman Bates mother would totally loved these Rocking Chair shoes. We’re getting a creepy medieval torture device feeling.
