The Clutch Project

You may think designer Scott Jarvie found inspiration for his Clutch Chair and Light in a frosty beverage but Jarvie’s interest was actually derived by fascination with the structural characteristics of trees. Made from 10,000 drinking straws, the Clutch Chair and Light shines a spotlight on our disposable culture.

The Clutch Light casts a sparkling glow thanks to the the unique shape of the straws.
