Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy Egg Chair
Arne Jacobsen’s 1958 Egg chair has reached another dimension thanks to manufacturer, Fritz Hansen. In collaboration with the Irish design company Lost Weekend and Penguin, the publisher of the Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series’ sixth book “And Another Thing…” by author Eoin Colfer.
The limited edition Egg chair appears in the latest installment of Douglas Adam’s wildly successful sci-fi series and will be on display during a promotional tour with the book’s author. The chair features an exploding earth graphic design on its pristine white leather back. The chairs will also be on display at the Fritz Hansen showroom in NYC, so don’t sweat it if you can’t catch the tour.
