If you know a skateboarder then your probably also familiar with the mound of broken boards they possess. A skater pounds a lot of love onto their deck and when it meets its end, as all decks do, they have a hard time parting with them.

So where do busted boards go after they die? Japanese artists Harumaki and Hirosher of Harvest by Hiroshi believe in paying homage to an old compadre by turning it into an extraordinary art project. It took 100 skateboard decks to make this skull helicopter for Burton snowboards.
