Spending a lazy Sunday trying to be crafty. First project, get myself into the Halloween spirit by carving the mini pumpkins I picked up at a neighborhood bodega the other day. I thought about getting a large pumpkin, but there’s really nowhere to put it. So I decided to downsize. When carving mini pumpkins, I suggest using a Exacto knife. Using a paring knife resulted in one of my pumpkins looking like he needs reconstructive surgery. I could probably improve my carving skills. Still, it did put me in a festive mood. Now I just need to think of a costume. I really have no idea what to be this year. Suggestions?
