Miniature Modern Dollhouse by Brinca Dada

We met Doug from Brinca Dada at ICFF 2010 and fell instantly in love with this miniature modern dollhouse by designer Tim Boyle.  The Emerson House, it has six rooms including a living room, kitchen, library/office, master bedroom, bathroom and child’s bedroom. We were so impressed with the detail of each piece of furniture and the fixtures were amazing. The home is so realistic! A gorgeous home, so jealous it’s only for Barbie!

Doug opened the Emerson House up to show us the open floor plan and floor-to-ceiling windows. Environmentally friendly, the house is built using non-toxic and lead-free wood stains and paints. If only all homes were built this way!

So perfectly petite! Just imagine stepping inside this miniature manse. Better knock first, Emerson House has occupants, see the resting ambiguous figure in the background relaxing on the lounge?

Miniature modern furniture fits each room perfectly. A peek into the bathroom reveals an oval tub and wood stools, instantly giving contemporary feel to the room!

Every detail adds an extra dimension of authenticity to the house. Some modern features include: mitered-glass corners, two fireplaces, sliding glass doors, solar panels on the roof, and recessed LED lights.

  1. This is the coolest dolls house I’ve seen. It’s a great way to get cool design in the hands of kids.

The industrial look on the modern doll house looks very professional without leaving that hint of our childhood memory – I mean, every girl must have owned doll houses when they were younger.

The exterior design is also ideal for corporate design.

  3. Great job. I love the details. Not long ago I found out that a dollhouse is the perfect gift for each little girl. In February I bought one for my Alice (3 years old) and she spends 2-3 hours each day playing house. I strongly recommend buying a dollhouse ! They come in different shapes and sizes and children love them . Quality & educational toys.
