This Nook Lounger by designer Phillippe Malouin reminds me of a cozy nest I’d like to crawl into and take a nap. Using the same techniques one would use to crochet, Phillipe Malouin uses his arms as giant crochet hooks to weave his comfy lounger. The “yarn” is created by filling hollow cotton tubes with recycled fibers. His website shows a quick video of the process, you can view it here.
Tracy Fay is the Editor in Chief of Modern Urban Living. One day, she’ll be a filthy rich, obnoxiously pretentious curator of modern wares. She’ll reside in her ultra glamorous European flat with her sweet, but no nonsense maid and her fabulously gay assistant. Until then, she manages and writes this blog from the eclectic neighborhood known as Bushwick, Brooklyn, NYC.
